Please note: We are no longer participate as a CGA sanctioned district. Please refer to the AVDR Rule Book for the current rules and qualifications for year end prizes. We are running 7 events at each show this year. Our club meetings are on the first Tuesday of the month at 7pm in the club house. All AVDR members are welcome.

Old Business:

  • New Board Members voted in are; Ingrid Armstrong as President, Alanna Layton as Vice President, Andria Witmer as Treasurer, and Taylor Mahtesian as Secretary. New announcer is Gayle Kaye. Judges are Dianna Lane, Peyton Lambert, and Bella Angobaldo

New Business:

  • Corona Virus waiver must be signed by all members.
  • Event for the September show are Figure 8 Flags, Figure8 Stake, Barrels (jackpot), Poles II, Mystery, Big T, Single Stake.
  • Having 7 events instead of 6 makes up for rainy-day show.
  • Pricing stays the same for the 2020-2021 season. $7 per event. $ pre-entry, payment must be received before 6AM the day of show.
  • Membership is $30. You can pay the daily membership of $5 and if daily membership is paid 6 times it adds up to the $30 year membership.
  • Rating buckle payment must be paid in full by the 6th show.
  • Members voted to have changes to AVDR rulebook.
  • Section 6 Awards #4 will be removed, ghost rides are allowed, Rider cannot have another person ride for them. if rider has paid for a ride but cannot ride, they will receive a no time and still get credit for paying.
  • Section 7 General Conduct will be edited to include conduct and sportsmanship on and off AVDR grounds between members. Will also include no tolerance for harassment towards AVDR members via social media or other social networks.
  • Section 9 Miscellaneous will be edited to include direction for how to get in touch with board members for questions and concerns about upcoming shows.
  • Date for the 2019 Awards Banquet is October 25th. The costume parade will be held during the awards banquet playday rather than the October show.
  • Andria bought a new battery for the tractor.
  • Looking to create a new webpage for AVDR or update the old page.
  • We will be making flyers to advertise AVDR
