Please note: We are no longer participate as a CGA sanctioned district. Please refer to the AVDR Rule Book for the current rules and qualifications for year end prizes. We are running 7 events at each show this year. Our club meetings are on the first Tuesday of the month at 7pm in the club house. All AVDR members are welcome.

  • Welcome back AVDR Treasurer Andria Witmer!
  • Dan Sargeant has been removed from the Board due to non-participation.
  • Orion Westfall was made a Board member in place of Teresa Westfall.
  • Doug Verseput nominated Orion Westfall for Vice President, Sherry Harris seconds the motion… no opposition; Orion Westfall is elected Vice
    President. Congratulations Orion!
  • Reminder, new members will pay AVDR membership in September: expires end of August 2015.
  • Current AVDR members will renew in January at a reduced rate of $20: expires end of August 2015.
  • Annual awards ceremony, banquet and play day will be held on October 19th. More information will be disseminated after the next Board meeting.
  • The new AVDR sign up sheets are posted on the webpage: avdesertriders.org.
  • Reminder for schooling runs: CGA membership is NOT required, AVDR membership IS required and you will be required to adhere to CGA dress
    code when riding.
  • Clarification on schooling runs. These are runs at the end of each event or the barrel run at the end of each show. Your times are not forwarded to
    CGA.
  • Set ups and Time Onlys are the runs that result in your time being sent to CGA.
  • Starting this season, the arena records will be deleted each season. This will result in new arena records each year. Good luck everyone.
  • There will be High Point awards given at each show.
  • Andria Witmer, Treasurer informed the members that all taxes have been paid.
