Doug discussed the following from the CGA Board Meeting he attended last month:
- A Lead line class will be available at the State show this year. The events for Lead Line will be Single Stake, Poles I, Speed Barrels, Speed Ball and Figure 8 Stake.
- Timekeepers were reminded to add the # of penalty seconds to the total time written on your timesheets.
- In order to help prevent the spread of equine viruses, please refrain from allowing your horse to engage in “nose to nose” contact with other horses.
- Reminder that beanies, baseball caps and visors are not CGA approved attire. You are expected to dress appropriately and in accordance with CGA guidelines at every show.
- The CGA annual convention will be held on November 16 and 17th in Fresno again this year. Holiday Inn is offering a special group rate for attendees.
